Square Roots has scooped a top prize at the prestigious ES New Homes Awards – the second major accolade this autumn for its first ever scheme.
At a glittering ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel in London’s Park Lane, Square Roots scooped the top trophy for the best shared ownership scheme for its inaugural scheme, Square Roots Kingston, a collection of stylish apartments in two low rise attractive brick buildings set in landscaped gardens, just a short walk from Richmond Park, and close to Kingston town centre. Every apartment features private outside space. Launched in spring this year, Square Roots Kingston is now sold out and the first residents have moved into their new homes. London Square was the delivery partner on the scheme.
The judges were “wowed by a specification and finish most private developers would be proud to deliver – and buyers appeared to agree. They look beautiful, are run with environmentally friendly efficiency, and are cleverly designed to complement modern lifestyles”, according to the Evening Standard in a major feature in the Homes and Property section to highlight the award winners.
London Square’s Jo McDonaghWe are absolutely thrilled with winning best shared ownership scheme and delighted with the judges’ comments. Square Roots’ ethos is to provide high quality, well designed affordable homes that reflect the exacting standards that London Square delivers in our private homes for sale. Winning two major awards with the first Square Roots scheme is an incredible achievement for everyone who has played their part in creating Square Roots Kingston.
